I apologize for the lack of updates around here recently. I’ve been hard at work writing and drawing the graphic novel, as well as growing my YouTube account, which you can subscribe to here if you aren’t already. As of writing these words, I need 972 more subscribers to go before I can start making money off my channel! Which is a lot, but my channel’s bound to ramp up eventually!
As for now, I’ve decided to compile all my artworks I do in a given month, into a single, monthly post, at the end of each month. I mean, no better or more interesting day to start than Leap Day, am I right? Don’t expect ficlets out of these, though, especially not on a regular basis. I’ve got work at UPS, video production, and graphic novel production to juggle. I’ve not time for ficlets anymore; I barely had time for them when fulfilling my New Year’s resolution. Those ficlets will be sparse from here on out. Besides, I’ve always meant them as practice for writing OTOG, anyway. As in a temporary thing.
But I’m always glad to upload the artwork I do have to show monthly, so you can see what’s going on in my life from a hobbyist art perspective. And since I didn’t do a post for January, I’ll be combining my January and February art here. Hope you enjoy this series of smaller-scale posts, and happy Leap Day!
Small Gamer With Big Energy
Uploaded January 1, 2024. Depicted is a coccinelline version of Scarlett, an OC created and owned by Cesar Jimenez/JIMENOPOLIX. As Scarlett is canonically a short, freckled redhead, I decided to make her a Grunvaliverse-style coccinelline for this artwork. As for her small size shown by the Super Nintendo controller, insectoids in the Grunvaliverse, such as this version of Scarlett, are 1/12th the size of the mammalians, reptilians, avians and other classes.

Features some minor redesigns to Margo’s and Wendy’s business attire, most notably Margo’s tie being in a trinity knot, and Wendy now wearing a dark red lipstick (the same color used for her nose freckles) instead of a purple. This artwork also serves as the banner on my YouTube, Newgrounds, and main Twitter account.
Gilda Grime – Decades AU Template
Uploaded February 27, 2024 (National Retro Day). Like I’d forget. Some of these outfits are established part of Gilda’s canonical wardrobe. I think Imma make the 1990s one, new to this artwork, part of that wardrobe. It fits her well despite the dark colors. Also, feel free to imagine the 1960s one as her grandmother Sharon, since, as established before, Gilda looks nearly identical to Sharon when the old procyonine was her granddaughter’s age.

I wish I was friends with my own older brother like Wendy is with her older sister. Well, Dolly too, but specifically Nicole.
